“Know all the theories, master all the techniques, but as you touch a human soul, just be another human soul”- Carl Jung
I am a BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and a registered mental health nurse (NMC). I have a genuine passion for helping people overcome emotional difficulties and rediscover their inner strength and confidence. Over the years, I have continued to develop my knowledge and skills within the NHS setting to offer evidence-based therapies tailored to each person's treatment plan. My clinical practice is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach recommended by NICE for a wide range of mental health difficulties, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related conditions.
Alongside CBT, I have undertaken further training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), where clinically appropriate, to support the processing of traumatic memories within an individualised treatment plan. I also hold qualifications in Clinical Hypnotherapy, which may be incorporated selectively as an adjunct to therapy when it supports your goals and is appropriate for your needs. Whatever techniques are used, my approach remains collaborative, formulation-driven, and tailored specifically to you as an individual.
While effective therapeutic techniques are important, I believe strongly that the relationship we build together is just as valuable. I aim to provide a safe, warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you feel listened to, understood, and comfortable enough to be yourself. Kindness, trust, authenticity, and, where appropriate, a little humour are all part of how I work. Alongside evidence-based therapy, I believe genuine human connection creates the foundation for meaningful and lasting change.
I primarily work with people experiencing anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, stress-related difficulties, and low self-confidence. Together, we begin to develop a shared understanding of the factors maintaining your difficulties before creating a structured treatment plan that reflects your goals. Therapy is never one-size-fits-all; whilst CBT forms the foundation of my work, EMDR and other therapeutic techniques may be integrated where they are likely to enhance treatment and improve outcomes.
Every person's experience is unique, which is why I tailor therapy to your individual needs and goals, ensuring we work together at a pace that feels comfortable and right for you. I aim to help you feel understood, supported, and empowered as you reconnect with your own inner strength and confidence.
Personal Me
-
After watching Karate Kid many years ago, I have always wanted a bonsai tree. I have now a small collection of these that I have crafted. Each one becomes very precious to me with a unique story. The secret I am learning is not too much water… (and, whispering positive things to it)
-
I love oil painting; this is a personal space where I can combine my own spiritual energy into ideas. A huge inspiration to my works and style is paid homage to Salvador Dali - my favourite artist.
-
I practise meditation and self-hypnosis on a daily basis. It helps me prepare for the day ahead and for a comfortable sleep. In addition, more recently I have added flotation tank to my monthly zen practice.

I've always been fascinated by human behaviour and the deeper reasons behind why we think, feel, and respond the way we do. That curiosity, together with my own life experiences, ultimately led me towards a career in psychotherapy.
Like many people, I've experienced periods of exhaustion, personal loss, and feeling disconnected from myself and those around me. Those experiences became a turning point in my life, encouraging me to reconnect with what truly mattered and to follow a path that had always felt right—supporting others through their own healing and personal growth.
My passion for psychology began during my school years, and although the journey has been both challenging and rewarding, it has continually strengthened my commitment to helping others. Every experience, both personally and professionally, has reinforced my belief that meaningful change begins with compassion, genuine human connection, and the courage to take the first step.
Throughout my own journey, one belief has remained constant: you already possess the strength to create change. At times, life's challenges can leave that strength feeling hidden beneath anxiety, self-doubt, trauma, or difficult experiences. My role is not to "fix" you, but to help you reconnect with the resilience, confidence, and clarity that already exist within you.
This belief is at the heart of Internal Strength Confidence (ISC) Therapy. My aim is to provide a safe, supportive, and compassionate space where you feel genuinely heard and understood, while helping you rediscover your inner strength, rebuild your confidence, and move towards the life you want to live.
Life isn't always an easy journey, but you don't have to walk it alone. Having the right person beside you can make all the difference.
